General Saugus Housing Authority Information

The Saugus Housing Authority administers both Federally-funded and State-funded housing programs for the elderly and families. Some of these programs are known as Conventional housing programs, and others as Rental Assistance housing programs.

Conventional
housing means that the property is owned and managed by the Authority.
Rental Assistance
housing means that the property is owned by a private landlord and the Authority assists with the rent payment to the landlord.

Current officers include Stanley T. King (Chairman), Claire Gamble (Vice Chairman), Joseph D. Favuzza (Treasurer), Fae Saulenas (Vice Treasurer), Peter DePlacido (State Appointee), Judy Hoffman (Commissioner), and Steven G. Whitehurst (Executive Director).
