Douglas Waybright Elementary School is an elementary school located at 25 Talbot Street and was built in 1965. It has an enrollment of 250 students and 25 highly qualified staff members. The Waybright currently houses one pre-school, one kindergarten, and two of each grade level 1 through 5. The Waybright Elementary School includes: twelve classrooms, resource room, reading room, a gym/cafeteria/auditorium, library, nurse, kitchen and main office.

The Mission of the Waybright Elementary School is to provide each student with the values, knowledge and skills needed to reach his or her potential, maximize achievement and show responsibility in interacting with others in our diverse society. Waybright students will learn that responsibility earns respect, and respect leads to dignity. We will ensure an environment in which the unique gifts of each individual are developed and fortified, producing lifelong learners, able to solve problems and think creatively.
