The Saugus Finance Committee is a nine-member advisory committee that is appointed by the Saugus Town Meeting Moderator.
The chief function of the Finance Committee is to make recommendations to the Saugus Town Meeting on all financial articles, including the Annual Town Budget.
The Finance Committee also has the authority to expend funds out of an Emergency Account to fund emergency needs that arise between Town Meetings.
The Saugus Fiance Committee welcomes citizens' input, interest, and feedback as it strives to fulfill its chief purpose -- keeping the Saugus Town Meeting informed.
